"Hope has spoken many times to the city council during the past several years. She often speaks about the need to make informed, intelligent decisions regarding the Naval Weapons Station redevelopment. Hope opposed choosing Lennar for the project and was knowledgeable regarding Lennar's history of unethical practices. She also pushed for fair treatment for District 2 when making decisions for the development. The city council still made the costly error of choosing Lennar and then Lennar did not want to honor their part of the agreement. District 2 and the city of Concord need Hope's knowledge, intelligence, and foresight to help guide us through future decisions to choose a new developer as well as to advocate for the needs of District 2 as well as Concord residents."

"I endorse Hope Johnson For Concord, and will be putting in work and money to help her win District 2 (North Concord)'s seat on Concord City Council this November. Without a vote and limited to 3 minutes at a time, Hope has been bringing knowledge of this city, moral integrity, and a deep sense of justice to the podium at City Council for years. It's time to put her on the dais."

"I strongly believe in Hope and the positive change she will bring to our city council. She has spoken up for years to hold our city council accountable for their actions. I have no doubt that she will show up for our community and put our needs first. I hope you can join me in supporting Hope to bring forward change to make our community stronger."

"Hope's been a strong voice in our community for years. She's been the voice of the underrepresented; a voice of reason in moments of absurdity; and a voice of passion in moments that that seem to lack empathy. She's been on the right side of local issues that impact our community, including calling out the egregious spending by local powerful groups on select candidates' races, the terrible decision to grant Lennar the master development contract at the Concord Naval Weapons Station, Council's inexcusable lack of meaningful action to protect tenants throughout the housing crisis, and of course the ludicrous plans to allow Mark Hall to build a private soccer stadium on our public land in downtown Concord. I'm certainly voting for and donating to Hope Johnson For Concord, and I hope you consider doing the same!"

"The City Council has shown us that they don't really care to listen to the citizens. Hope is different. She is paying attention to our needs. I believe she will do everything in her power to take care of our most vulnerable communities."
Hope Johnson & Judi Herman
Judi Herman
"I support Hope Johnson for Concord City Council because she is the voice for Concord's people. Hope is Concord born and raised. She is fully committed to the city she loves. Concord is an economically and culturally diverse city. Hope is committed to maintaining that diversity and expanding opportunities for Concord's citizens. She is concerned about representing her neighbors and making sure that District 2 will be well represented on the Council. She will make sure that the City budget is not balanced on the backs of our most vulnerable residents. She will bring hope for a better city government."
